ABOUT US
The Augusta Eagles Baseball is a homeschool-based baseball program serving high school and middle school athletes in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). The program is designed to provide competitive baseball opportunities while cultivating Christian character, discipline, and excellence.
The Eagles Baseball fields three teams: a varsity high school team, a junior varsity team, and a middle school team.
The program prioritizes homeschool athletes while allowing participation from local school students who do not have access to a team or choose not to participate in their school program.

Our Mission Statement
To develop young men of character through competitive baseball, emphasizing Christ-centered leadership, discipline, teamwork, and personal growth.
Our Competitive Vision
We aim to compete at a high level within the homeschool and independent school leagues while building a respected program known for strong fundamentals, disciplined play, and high character.
We desire to maintain affordability and accessibility
The actual costs to run a program of this size can exceed $1400 per player and costs keep rising every year. We know that this can be a stretch for many if not all families, so we offset our costs with sponsorships (local businesses), fundraisers (team fundraising events, community engagement activities, and donor campaigns), and community support (individual donor contributions). In order for this to be a success, it requires effort from us all.
A Christ-Centered Culture
We seek to cultivate a Christ-centered environment where players are developed both athletically and spiritually. In order to cultivate this environment, we have team prayer before and after games and practices, have weekly team devotionals, and encourage older players to mentor younger players. We also seek to handle wind and losses biblically by: after wins - give glory to God & emphasize humility; after losses - give glory to God, focus on growth, and reinforce identity. This also affects our expectations and standards of play on the field: no arguing with umpires or coaches, no trash talk or fowl language, no electronics permitted at practices or games, we help opponents up, encourage our teammates, and hustle always.
Parent Expectations
If parents don't buy in, culture suffers. Parent expectations are: (1) no sideline coaching; (2) model Christlike behavior on the sideline during practices and games; (3) support the coaches' authority. We also do not permit parents to question coaches until at least 24 hours after games.
