Rule #1: If two players are equal: Choose the homeschool player.

Step 5: Payment (if selected)

The cost for the season is $650.
(fundraising will be available to help offset this cost as well, dollar for dollar that the player raises will go
directly to this amount)

A Few things to know before you (or if a parent, your son) tries out for the team:
Here are some player expectations for standards of play: always hustle, encourage teammates, do your best. The positives sound so much better. Of course, because it must be said, no fowl language is permitted, no trash talk, no arguing with umpires or coaches, no belittling, no bulling, and no electronics (including cell phones) are permitted to be out during practice or games.
Not to leave out the parents, if you don't buy in, culture suffers. Parent expectations are: (1) no sideline coaching; (2) model Christlike behavior on the sideline during practices and games; (3) support the coaches' authority. We also do not permit parents to question coaches until at least 24 hours after games.
Who is eligible to tryout for the Augusta Eagles baseball program?
This is a homeschool program first - not a fallback team.

Program priority order (as it pertains to making the team):
-
Homeschool players (full priority)
-
Hybrid/part-time homeschoolers
-
Eligible non-homeschool players (either your school does not have a school team or you did not tryout for your school team, or you were cut from your school team prior to the Eagles' tryouts.

We do NOT allow:
-
Players to leave a current team after making that team.
-
Players trying to "double dip" (school + Eagles, OR spring travel ball team + Eagles)
-
Recruiting players away from existing teams.
